Bauer Supreme or Graf Supra junior size?

Recommended Posts

Have to choose new junior skates soon for my 8yo advanced level player with wide feet.
He has Supreme One 60 and happy with that.
On ice at least 5-6 times per week.

So I stuck between Supreme (which is essential choose based on fact he likes his skates) and Graf Supra...
Plus I really like Reebok 14K pump. Its just cool feature for skates...

I can afford something like Bauer Supreme One.7 or Graf Supra 5035...

Any suggestions?

Get him whatever fits the best. Likely that you could go Supreme again but you never know. Best would be to blindfold him and go purely based on feel and not looks, though, by the looks of it, you should be blindfolded too to let him choose without bias! lol

And don't funnel him into only those options. Why not try a CCM? A Vapor?

He doesnt care. For him everything works. Also not sure he can prefer something without baking and trying on ice. Preferably in couple of games )

He would be happy kid in any skates. The idea of better skates is my idea due to his new size coming soon )

So I look for other people real experience, taking in consideration we are all different and also the fact that I am not so rich so I would afford to buy him different pairs to check out which once he would love.

AFAIK, both CCMs and Vapors are for narrow foot, not our case.

Nope, CCMs are typically a wider boot so I don't know where you got that info from. You should try Vapors in a EE width for him.

In this case I have to add ccm U+12 and CL models to the list....Uh. Makes even more difficult to choose...

Look like LHS shopping might help better...
