skate suggestions...

I've been playing ice for about a year now and looking to make a better investment on wheels. I currently use a Bauer Supreme One40 11EE. I like the overall fit of the skate, but it doesn't give the ankle support I think I need.

I've been eyeing the Reebok White K Pump, the Bauer Vapor X60 LE, the CCM U+ 10 or the CCM RBZ 80. I've seen good (and some bad) reviews on all the skates, but was looking for a more personalized opinion. I know the reeboks fit a bit wider, but was curious to see if the CCMs do the same. Any input is appreciated

If you like the fit why mess with success? Why not go with a higher level supreme boot?

That's a good point, but most people might be surprised to find that one skate that fits even better. However, with any type of skate fit question, all opinions on skate A vs skate B are moot until you try them on yourself and see which ones fit you the best.

valid point. i just dont know tho, I've baked them twice and no matter how much I tighten, the ankles never seem supportive enough.

also, I'd honestly just like to try something different even...was just curious to see how size carries from brand to brand. I tried on about a half dozen skates before I got my supremes. I wear a size 14/15 shoe and was convinced I'd never find a skate cuz of the size, but the foot portion of the supremes in 11EE seem to fit pretty mint

If the only thing you don't like about your current skate is ankle support, I'd definitely stick to the Supreme line but get a higher level skate. You keep the fit in the foot area but get a much more supportive/responsive feel from the stiffer upper found on the higher end boot.
