SnakeEyes29 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2004 Have any of you all skated on the new Ice Court? I did at 2hot4ice,and it felt great. It was a harder surface, and the puck slid so much better.
kovalchuk71 212 Report post Posted December 15, 2004 I found it was diffucult to stop and make tight turns at first, but you get used to it.
MDE3 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2004 Because of increased grip...you stopped faster, and needed to adjust your pivot point for sharp turns, or the opposite?
SnakeEyes29 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2004 Just adjusted the angles of stopping and starting. Not much thought. Just made the adjustment in first period and then fell in love with it. If ice people tried this floor, I think they'd see roller as a serious way to get in quality time to improve their ice game. But even with no ice guys in mind, it definitely made the roller game better with faster puck and smotther skating.
MDE3 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2004 My son played on another one of their products which is called "Skate Court" and was raving about it the same way. Add the grip from the top wheels, and it must be amazing...could change a lot about how the inline game is played, and percieved.
