Pattern question

Been using the Backstrom Bauer pattern for a little over a year now and I'm looking at going to RBK because my LHS has the 16k SicKick for an extremely low price and I cannot find a decent Bauer stick in the mid level range for less then $150. So my question is, how much of a difference would the Datsyuk RBK pattern be from the Bauer Backstrom pattern? I've seen on several charts that the Backstrom pattern is comparable to Crosby PA87 pattern. I've never used an RBK stick outside of a wooden one about 6 years ago.

The Datsyuk will have less of a rocker, more of a mid curve with a neutral face till about the last 4-5 inches where it opens up slightly. If you have been using a p92, the p87 or p87a curve will be the easiest transition. The lie angle will be slightly different, but the rocker and blade face will be almost identical.
