Help with a new two piece set up?

Recommended Posts

I am 5'7-5'8 and weigh about 140 pounds. I am looking for a nice two piece set up, i have a warrior intermediate shaft and it refuses to fit any blades. What senior shafts would be good for my size regarding flex and length? I like my sticks roughly chin level off of skates. any recommendations for me?

Forgot to add: Preferably low flex

Thanks in advance!

I have that shaft, like it so much that I bought a second one. Now it seems I have a zillion shafts, and it's okay- I know eventually they will break or go wonky. I have fit an old wood Easton blade in mine with no issues. The one blade I did have problem fitting into any shaft without it loosening and clicking was a modern, Chinese-made CCM composite blade. The hosel is definitely too small for every single shaft I own. Maybe CCM QC was bad during that batch (which includes my CCM U+07 skates :( )

I saw on another thread you had started you were trying to fit a Bauer into it. Have you tried any other blades? Wood blades? Composite?

I've only used the Bauer one and I got it in almost all the way. I want to use it while I can. I did try to remove it and it was near impossible.

Get a pic of the join. You have to use a hosting site to get a pic up. I haven't gotten to post a pic, but a link from a hosting site will suffice.

Removing is actually harder to do than installing, which isn't a bad thing as it prevents you from throwing a blade when shooting.
