Graf Era 7 pants tail bone protection

... or lack of it. I like these pants, but after taking a sudden flip backwards yesterday, my head is fine, but my bum is not feeling so good. Sometimes when going over the boards, I end up with my tail bone protection flipped (bareback!).

I don't want to destroy a pair of otherwise serviceable (and in excellent condition, may I add) Easton EQ20 pants and graft the tailbone protection from those onto my Graf pants, but this is the part of the Graf pants I am finding less than acceptable.

Any other suggestions? I suppose I could graft the tailbone protection from an otherwise wrecked pair of pants...
