Bauer NXG Pant Sizing

Ok so here is my situation, I'm wanting to buy some new pants but unsure of the size I should go with. I currently wear a small pant size in my supreme pants. I found an nxg pant for cheap but it's a medium. I have never used a girdle but I assume it's fully adjustable. That being said will going from a small pant to a medium girdle style pant be a big difference? I'm 5'8 165 lbs

Yes - it's a girdle - going smaller and opening them up is better than going bigger and cinching it down - it's supposed to be a tight fit.
