reusing broken CCM RBZ stick

Can a CCM RBZ stick be cut on bottom and attach a wood blade on it?

the stick broke below where the fuse point would be.

Has anybody tried this?

Did it for a friend of mine awhile ago with a tapered mako blade. Works like a charm.

I just took the stick to the chop saw and found out that the speed channels run right up past where the fuse point would be.

The walls of the stick is pretty thick, you could hack out the speed channels and still not have any room for the Tenon

You can pull the whole blade out if you'd referenced that other thread. I've done it to 4 of them.
