As I picked it up I already said to my self, there is a stick in there? I Was shocked by how light it was. I opened it and pulled it out and was very blown away by how light the stick was. Unwrapped it and took a few pictures before I cut itnto it later on.LookI love the way the stick is very subtle. No Graphics popping out at you and the Blue is just a perfect blend inFeelI used the stick untapped and uncut and sure it felt awkward at the height I'm not use too, it had a very good puck feel to it and stick handling was awesome and felt so smooth. I also like that it is neither blade heavy nor shaft heavy. It has the perfect balance inbetween the two for a great feel.
Vulcan7905 88 Report post Posted June 4, 2014 Couple games in with this stick and it surprises me how I want to Poke check with this stick. The feel of poke checking with it is just great and so balanced. I couldn't poke check for anything with the V1E. The stick still fires off rockets where ever I want to put the puck. Quite a few people I have let them fire off a few wristers and they fell in love with it. Price point and the look and feel is what people love about it so far. Vulcan7905 88 Report post Posted June 10, 2014 Two more games in over the weekend and I still poke check everything away with this stick. I said it before, but it's so balanced when poke checking. Stick also netted me two goals a few assists. The wrist shots are accurate and pwerful and the curve makes it much easier as I believe it's perfect for me. Passes have been spot on also. Little wear ad tear from people stick lifting and slashing but nothing that huge.
Vulcan7905 88 Report post Posted June 17, 2014 Another game in and still going strong with this stick. I can really get the flex into it which I love. I keep firing off shots that go right off the goalies glove cause it procudes that heavy of a shot. I also let my buddy borrow it for a little bit and he was amazed by it being a mid level stick for that price. I have gotten quite a few to actually try it and fall in love with it that they ask to use it again which I say "It was only a taste". True hit a grand slam with this mid level stick for the price point and durability.
Vulcan7905 88 Report post Posted June 27, 2014 Another couple games in and the stick is doing extremely well. Played defense the other night and took a beaitful slap shot from the point, that puck flew off the stick with so much speed and velocicty it was really a site to see. It even went exactly where I aimed it which is saying a lot about this curve for my self. After the next two games, I will have pictures of it to show how the wear and tear is going. Vulcan7905 88 Report post Posted August 21, 2014 I've had a few weeks on and off playing. So here is a month summary.I used this stick at Summer Jam. I tried the Nexus and Tack stick, and STILL went back to my true. I really feel it is such a great light weight stick at the mid level. I have gotten the sweet spot down on it where I can load up the stick and the shot goes almost where I want it 80% of the time. The other 20% is user error of course. Still poke check like a fiend with it because its so easy to sweep across the ice because of it being so light. I have taken a few slap shots with it as well and it fires them off like nobodies business. There was one game where heel took a brutal slap shot and I heard a loud TING sound. Thought, Crap the stick is broke. Nope. Still took wristers all night without a problem! This stick is a trooper!
Vulcan7905 88 Report post Posted April 18, 2015 So, after a month of switching back and forth between my EK 15 and True. I have stuck with the true. It's still holding up like a champ after so many slashes and angry moments. I feel as if I can get a better release and aim the puck a lot better with the True than with the Ek 15. I can not wait to see what they release next!
