Easton hybrid blades

Recommended Posts

Theres a few reviews up. Also check out the z-Carbon wood stick reviews (same blade). I like mine, but don't find it great. It's decent, but nothing spectabular.

I hate mine! The only Drury pattern blade available here and hybrid :(

It has no feel at all and it's really heavy. I use it only in pond hockey that I do few times this winter...

I got a Drury hybrid Synthesis the other day. I've only used in a quick shoot-around ,but I like the feel of it so far. I'll post more, maybe a full review, once I've used it in practice and games.

The biggest adjustment will probably be the different curve. I used the old Easton Leetch blades before, but I can't find them anywhere these days (think they got phased out). But I'd been using somebody elses recently, with a big heel-wedge, and I liked it a lot.

Plus, I bought a cut M-1 from estovlo2 the other day, which fits tapered blades, so I needed one, and I didn't have the cash (or inclination) to pick up an expensive full-composite blade (particularly as they're even more expensive in the UK).

I found the transformation to be kind've odd

I started using the Leetch when it was similar to a drury, but with a square toe. The it added more curve, then switched the Lidstrom, which after a little more time added more curve. So I've gone to a Drury and love it (have for years). I'd say try the Drury and Lidstrom out, see what you can do. Maybe throw in a Morrow and Tucker to try as well.

I might do just that. I'm loving the Drury so far, but I'll have to wait a bit till I use it more to know for sure.

Tapered blades are hard to come by round these parts (my LHS only had the Synthesis hybrids in Drury and Yzerman - lucky, as I was looking for the Drury), so this one should last me a while.

Thanks for all the information on it. I think i might go pick one up once my other blade is done just to try it out. I was just wonderin cause it is partly composite and i have never used a composite blade. I guess ill have to try it out and see if i like it.
