OpenIceHit42 2 Report post Posted June 2, 2014 I’m making a table out of broken composite sticks and looking for some advice from anyone that’s made one. How did you piece the sticks together, with a small screw or did you use a glue of some sorts?

Chadd 916 Report post Posted June 3, 2014 If you want it to hold up to use, screws would be a good idea. Epoxy may work, but I don't know that I would trust epoxy alone for anything that has to bear a significant amount of weight.
OpenIceHit42 2 Report post Posted June 3, 2014 Appreciate the input, wasn't sure if I run the risk of cracking the shaft if I ran a wood screw through it or not.

You shouldn't have to worry about cracking shafts if you drill pilot holes. Composite will wear down drill bits quickly, too. Buy a 5-pack of bits in the size you want and swap out once you feel you're forcing it.
