Hockeydog 8 Report post Posted July 20, 2014 Not denying actual measurements that have been taken, but maybe a EE width in the same size feels longer than that of a D width to those who need an EE width in that skate model. The D width would pinch the forefoot too much, thus elongating the foot. Flesh has to go somewhere, if not out to the side, then forward.

If your foot has more room in the sides of the skate, it may not need as much length b/c it's not being squished so much. The actual lengths may not be different but the "feel" is different if that makes sense. For what it's worth, I have never taken actual measurements so I'm only speaking form personal feel but I have a 7.0D Nexus 800 and a 6.5 EE Supreme One.7 and they are both the pefect length for my foot with my toes barely brushing the cap. I also have a 7.0 EE Axiom T9 (which use the same lasts as supreme's from what I've read) and my toes are not brushing the cap at all and the skate feels a few mm too long.
