How old is the pic in terms of use?Off topic, do these guys have to buy their own gear or is it supplied by the team / league? Or is there some sort of budget they are allowed? Aaron26 2 Report post Posted July 6, 2014 Those are the pads being sold, that photo was taken 3 or 4 games left in the season so they're pretty close to how they look currently.It depends, he's the back up so he has to pay for some of his gear (hence why he's selling these, to fund next seasons) but the starting goalies in the league generally get new pads and gloves every season paid for by their team. Players have a budget in terms of sticks and what not usually built into contracts as obviously, they're not cheap if you burn through a full custom Bauer totalone every game for a 60 game season Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
