Cosmic 178 Report post Posted August 4, 2014 I wear a large Hybrid on a medium Mission Inhaler. Sizewise, everything fits everything fine. Only issue I have is that the Hybrid seems to be designed rather "oddly," as I detailed in another thread. Basically, the shield/ cage combo does not hinge at all when it is tightened- it just sort of pulls at the foundation where the helmet attaches to the cage. Also, the front clips require tightening by a Phillips screwdriver, but the actual glass shield does not allow one to get in there with a screwdriver. So, I just put on a work glove and ighten the screws by hand. The work glove gives me enough grip that I can get it nice and tight. I asked Josh V at HM if I was missing something or doing something wrong, and he pretty much confirmed that I was assembling this item correctly, and that whoever designed it apparently missed these "little" nuances (unless Josh V and I are both equally clueless, which I do not think to be the case, in this mater anyway lol). Thus far, this is my only gripe with the Hybrid. So, when I put it on, I bascially have it locked in place with the shield down, with no hinging available to help me put this on like I would an ordinar full cage. Once it hinges, then you know that the screws are not tight, bascially.I also wore a large Re-AKT on my old Re-AKT helmet, as well as my Mission Inhaler. I think it is common that large Bauer cages work on their medium helmets, for those of us with longer faces and medium to larg'ish'ish sized domes. I had medium Re-AKT helmet with medium cage (combo pack for discount, well, so I thought) when I first got started. The helmet fit fine but the mouthguard barely came down past my nose.
