Bauer Profile II Cage Length

I've always used the 480/580 (admittedly because it looks the best out of all the options available). While the overall size of the medium 580 is perfect, the chin cup on a medium legitimately covers my mouth and not my chin. The large 580 is too big overall.

Has anyone done a comp between the 580 and the new Bauer profile 2 with respect to how low the chincup sits, not necessarily the overall lengths of the cages?

The chin cup on the large 580 definitely sits lower than the chin cup on the large Profile II. I fit in a large 580 OK (even better if I mount the cage tabs facing down like CCM recommends, but I don't like the bar spread as much vision-wise), but perfect in the large Profile II. I thought I probably could have gone medium in the 580, but after reading your post, maybe not! Sounds like the L Profile II might work for you pretty well.
