E700 and Bauer HDO

Recommended Posts

Got an Easton E700 and a bauer HDO deluxe visor. Wondering if anyone has pics of their mount. I have mine mounted but it looks wrong on the sides, like it's not sitting properly. Any help would be appreciated.

While I don't have an E700, I do have an RBK 8K with a x100. I mounted the plastic bracket pieces with the metal bracketed piece facing at the top and toward the back of the helmet, while the bottom screws are slotted in positions 2 & 4 and placed all the way in the forward position. I then screwed in the front of the helmet screws in so that they'd be even. Then I screwed in the side screws.

On a side note, I mounted this visor to an Easton S19 and noticed that the side screws didn't sit quite as flat due to the narrower width construction. Screws in positions 2 and 4 and are placed ¾ of the way forward.

I've got the same combo (e700 & x100). I currently use the e700 with a cage, but will double check this tomorrow, I've got a game tonight.

Sorry for taking so long to check the helmet & visor combo, I totally forgot about this.

Since the HDO (X100) has 4 contacts points, it is pretty dang secure.

That being said, I do remember using angled spacers to help bridge that gap, unfortunately I've seemed to have misplaced all of my spacers and the clips to my Bauer HDO Pro Clip Visors, so I cannot verify.

If you can get your hands on spacers like this, it should be more secure.

Be very careful with the E700. If you use too much force to secure the screws, the anchors in the helmet can start to pull through the surface.
