Why not use a PP77 then? Or the Warrior W71 Pacioretty is pretty close, but a higher lie and more open

I have been struggling to find tapered Coffey/p77 blades. I'd appreciate any suggestions about current patterns that feel similar.

I used p92/Sakic clones in the past, but they feel strange now because of the different lie. P88, Smyth and Kovalchuk patterns feel easier to use coming from the p77.

I can't find any w71 blades. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance for any input.

If your going OPS then you have a little more options. If your 2 peicing a stick. Your options are very limited.

If your ops...look at either CCM p46 or the Bauer P88. the P46 is more open than the P88, but otherwise they both have the same amount of overall curvature. The PP77 is a Big hook, but is hard to find as I remember it.

I have seen different version of the Coffey curve and part of my problem is that Sherwood has offshored more production and the curve IMO has be altered from what it used to be. The Warrioir Kovalcuk is similar...BUT it is more toe curve than say the P88 IMO.

I find that I get a good amount of power from the curve starting in the heel and curving throughout the blade...NOT just from the midpoint on forward.

Warriors P71 may be a big curve, but it also starts midway through...which is why I moved on from the P92.
