What new graf skates is the most similar to the 727?

Thanks for asking this question, as my own pair should be replaced. Over a decade old!

I can't remember if I asked also this question here, or if I simply emailed Graf, but someone had told me that the 709 was the closest skate they had in terms of fit. Looking at the website, they don't seem to actively manufacture that model anymore. Regardless, I would prefer something a little more modern than the 709, something lighter.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I would have guessed the 707 or G7 due to the extra ankle flex. In the newer Graf models (X035), you essentially have one fit, not the wide range in the old Graf line. It may work for you, give it a shot and see what you think. Otherwise, I would check out the Mako, it allows for a lot of forward flex like the 727, though it is a much more shallow boot.
