A skate fitting question

Recommended Posts

My son was given a pair of like-new Bauer One100 junior skates. Everything seems good except that, after laces are tightened, he could lift his heals inside the skates. Will it help if we have the skates baked? Or do these skates just not fit him?

Yeah the skates just don't fit him...A common issue with buying skates for kids. My parents hated having to shell out for new skates at minimum every 6 months because my feet would grow.

Take a look at the kids on the ice who seem to be flopping around on their feet while skating, yeah good possibility their skates don't fit properly and mom and dad were hoping to get the skates to last at least the season if not more.

This is no good for the kids legs and feet. Go to your LHS and get a set of skates that fit perfectly now and in 6-8 months those like-new ones he was given will fit fine when he grows.

HockeyMonkey just sent out a 25% off ONE clearance item coupon code so check out the options.
