Helmet fit question

Hey all, I just got a new lid, the reebok 8K, and I had put my mask on that there is a lot of space in the ear area of the helmet, much more so than on my IMS 7, here are two pics to compare

Is this a sign of bad fit and should I be concerned about it? Otherwise I'm really happy with the way the helmet fits

If the rest of the helmet fits snugly, then you should be OK, but I have no way of verifying that so I'll leave it to you.

Ha, funny thing is I tried both ways cause I wasn't sure which way they were supposed to go and like the way the mask fit with them backwards

It looks like the reebok is sitting really high on your head, but it might just be the shape and size of the helmet creating that appearance.
