Pekka Rinne and Juuse Saros set a new world record

Finland now holds the new world record in keeping opponents from scoring in a single tournament. Tonight, team Finland won Slovakia 3-0 at the 2015 IIHF World Championships which means no one has been able to score against them in over 240 minutes straight.

May 3rd Denmark - Finland 0-3 (Rinne)

May 4th Norway - Finland 0-5 (Rinne)

May 7th Finland - Slovenia 4-0 (Rinne)

May 9th Finland - Slovakia 3-0 (Saros)

Congratulations to Rinne and Saros for the new record!

Those Finns do make good goalies. Back in the day Moose Lake had one of them Finns in da net. We could not get it past him.

Would the MN Finns beat the actual Finns from the old country?

UMD gals team has a good pipeline to da old country.
