I had to play with the filters because my shell was blending in with the background, but I think this is how the girdle is supposed to sit.

@Cosmic, what set up is that you have in the photo? Is that your new warrior girdle?

Can I ask why you went with a smaller shell than girdle size?

Also is your girdle coming down (same length) to the bottom of the shell?

That's:

-16 inch Bauer Supreme NXG shins (my old shins, these are my shins I use when I visit parents)

-(new) Warrior XL Girdle

-Large Warrior Girdle pants

I went with one size smaller on the shell for a few reasons:

a) the retailer only had L in stock. I could have ordered XL, but I thought L was perfect (as did the guy at the store), so I just went with it. Since that time, I think that the shell may have shrunk in the wash. It's no matter tho, once I get overseas, I will just have my tailor duplicate it with my team logo and # on it (in navy), and just have him expand it a little bit all around.

b) If you watch the video of the guy, it seems that the shell seems a bit loose (the Total Hockey Warrior Dynasty review). He is in Medium girdle, which fits him perfectly, and I thought the Medium shell looked a bit loose on him.

c) One of the things that I do not like about the girdle is the floating thigh guard. I like enough else about this girdle though (the mesh liner, max protection, etc.), that I thought maybe I could use a slightly tighter girdle to hold that thigh flap in place- specifically the flap the is on the inner thigh on each side. The Large was too tight down there, with the zipper cinched, I learned, when I skated with this set up. With the zipper unzipped, I think it is golden.

I will take a pic without my socks on. Right now, I am showered and my gear is soaked (from playing this morning), and I play the next 2 days, so it will likely be Sunday when I can be showered with dry gear and be able to snap some pics in comfort of dryness. Like X-axis said, you (we) ought to be asking people who know girdles, and this is my first stab at this. I think I nailed it, but maybe I did not? So, if my set up looks wrong, then someone will chime in.

I am pretty sure that I could not have gone Large in this, because when I put it on, it is a bit of a b$*#h to pull up, and as I yank it up, I am thinking, "I am so gonna tear this." So, a Large is even worse. The XL does not seem to be stretching, which is sort of fine, because I think it to be a perfect fit, as is.

UPDATE: The Velcro in the Large shell ripped out, so I returned it, and am waiting on the size XL to come in.

I wanted to, but every time I meant to snap a few pics, something else came up. If the pants were out of warranty, then it would not have been the end of the world. I was still in warranty though, so figured I would swap it out.

I read somewhere else, that with this girdle, the user tore the velcro trying to tighten the pants. I definitely did not tear it tightening, I suspect it tore when I crouched (or because I am too fat lol).

I bit the bullet and got the Extra Large MX3 Pants, not a great deal difference in the waist and not any difference in length (see bottom pic)

The shell must be baggy compaired to the Large Tall as I don't get the problem with the Shin Guard knee flap catching the pants now, perfect as I didn't want to cut the Shin Guard Flap off if I could help it.
