CCM RBZ 75 issue

hey everyone,

I bought these skates just over 3 months ago (go figure the 90 day warranty just past). Last week (after maybe 8 skates) I noticed two of the rivets coming loose. Took them to a local CCM retailer that repairs equipment as well. They fixed the two rivets. I skated this Saturday and again one of the same rivets is coming out again. Any advice? I really don't want to have to go to the shop between every damn game.

Occasionally the rivet hole gets drilled slightly too large for the rivets and can cause such a problem. Have them replace the problem rivet with a copper and see if it fixes it.

By fix, did they replace or simply tighten the rivets? I had an older pair of reeboks which had the coppers work loose. For whatever reason the two proshops insisted on tightening rather then replacing. Finally by the third tightening, they are holding tight for the past couple years. I should of argued more and had them replaced off the bat.

I thought they replaced them but the more I look at the skate it seems they maybe have just tightened them. I'll try that, I also emailed CCM about the issue.
