Keeping your skate together (when they're NOT on you're feet)

don't know if this helps anyone, but i use a "cable cuff" to keep my skates together. its good for when I take the lil beardos the rink for a public or clinics.

to me, its better then when my Pops used to tie the laces together...

they're 75's yeah, no copper at all, i was surprised as well. i'll run them like this for the season and maybe have copper put into the backs spots in the spring .

ok, so it took less then i thought to have the OEM rivets degrade.  now have copper in the back of the towers. Played Monday, and could hear the one side creek when i walked out of the dressing door.  i grabbed the the back of the holder and could move it ever so slightly. played that night, but i could tell there was shifting / slippage during tight turns. (and i'm not even good).  playing tonight, i'll see how they hold up!
