Kessel'sOversizedSuit 18 Report post Posted January 4, 2016 Does anyone know if there is a difference in the last between the three bauer lines in Youth Sizes?Do the youth skates actually fit differently in the way the senior or junior skates do, or are they all on the same last and merely different cosmetically? Champeen 0 Report post Posted January 4, 2016 it's funny you ask. i recently bought my son a new pair of vapors in Junior sz 1.5 (not even youth!) and the ankle is very distinctly the Supreme anatomical ankle. the vapors he just grew out of did NOT have that ankle.... so in short, i have no idea what's going on there, but my guess would be no, they do not all follow the distinct fit profile of the senior line. Kessel'sOversizedSuit 18 Report post Posted January 6, 2016 I ended up replacing my daughters 11Y vapors with 11Y supremes. They do seem a little wider and she says they are more comfortable. I notice that there are fewer eyelets on the supreme 7 vs. 8 on the vapor. not sure what difference that would make.Anyway, she's happy so there's that. rawkstar 45 Report post Posted January 6, 2016 I'm also curious if anyone used the Prodigy Youth skate here? Any thoughts?
tpedersen3118 58 Report post Posted January 7, 2016 I looked at the prodigy for my 5 year old. I was not a fan of the lacing system and eyelets. I think Bauer had the right intent with that line but did not execute the way they should have; at least as far as the skates are concerned.
