Broken Vapor 1X - Can I put a tapered replacement blade on it?

So, I trash picked a Vapor 1X that is only broken at the blade. Left over from some High School kid getting pissy about losing. It looks to be perfect fine other than that. Now my question is, since the Vapor 1X works on a taper for it's low-kick, could I cut it at the correct point and place a tapered blade like ( http://www.hockeygiant.com/bauvap1xbldsr.html) into it?

Figure it would make a good loaner, dry-land/roller hockey twig.

Yes, but you'll prob have to dremel out the tennon first

No where that I can just cut it and it'll fit right in? Darn.
