Real equipment in NHL 2005

i downloaded this non pnhl roster and updated it to my nhl 2004 and whenever i load it up and go to the edit lines feature...the game just shuts down on me... does anybody kno whats wrong??

i got a question on this topic anyways, has anyone else noticed that in the beginning when all the players pop up on the main menu, has anyone else realized that MArio Lemeuix is wearing RbK gloves, but not in the WCH Canada jersey??? Did he use them during the regular season last year????
