Ordered Supreme 190 switching holders/runners

I plan on taking my holders and runners off my old skates (Vapor X6.0 lightspeed 2 with Step black steel) and putting them on the 190s.  Is this worth it or should i just try skating with the LS3s?  The runners have only been sharpened twice so they have a ton of life left in them.  I am guessing this will void any warranty on the skates.

Up to you really. "Worth it" is quite suggestive. Personally, I've been skating on an old pair of Supremes with Lightspeed 2 holder and Step runners. I upgraded to a new pair of Supreme 180s this year and went with LS4 runners - only because I'm so used to the 10' radius. I'd say it's cheaper to get a pair of LS4 runners than to by a pair of LS2 holders and have you LHS replace your holders... I understand there is durability issues with the runner's becoming loose in the Edge holders over the extended use. Considering I'm playing couple of times a week at low recreational level, I figured it'll take my skates quite a while to get to that point. 

 

But then again, Patrick Kane went back to LS2 holder with Step runners. Maybe you'll need to as well...

Was thinking about going with the LS4 but have decided to take my old Lightspeed 2 holders with the Step in them and have the LHS throw them on the 190s.  I guess i will have backup holders now
