Pp77 coffey or pp05 lidstrom

Recommended Posts

So I saw a pretty good deal online on a sherwood t120. The only problem is that the only two patterns available are lidstrom and coffey. So, I did my research and I think the coffey suits the best my needs but I'm not sure. I read a lot of comments saying that it was impossible to hit the net with that curve while other people are saying it's the best curve ever. I never saw these curve in real life, just on the internet so it's hard to choose. Talking about me, I'm an offensive defensman and the latest curve I played with are MC (on a true, I liked that curve but I found that it was hard to lift the puck top corner when to close to the net) and tc2 (i liked that curve for stink handling, but i missed a little bit of precision on my slapshot). So, I know that everybody has different taste when it comes to curves, but what are your suggestions?

When I was playing defence using the PP77 helped me keep my shots low and I felt the accuracy was fine, stick handling and passing very good.  With any change in curve or lie you need to practice and get used to it.  Those are two different lies PP77 being 5.5 and PP05 being a 6 so there is that to contend with. If I'm not mistaken (just looked buy never used) a True MC curve is a 5.  I'd go with a PP77 or PP26 for a scoring defenceman if you are looking at Sherwood exclusively.  PP26 will help with shot height a bit.  Its all in the practice though. The stick curve and lie is only going to help you so much.  Hope that helps.
