Bryan Bickell Set to Return to the Hurricanes

For those who don't remember, Bickell last played in October before being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I'm glad to see him make a comeback, despite the MS diagnosis and everything he's been through. Hopefully it's a good rest of the season for him, and that he'll resign with Carolina, or sign elsewhere (he's set to become an unrestricted free agent.)

 

While MS is awful, and it may ultimately affect his career, there's been a couple notable players who continued their pro careers after their diagnoses. Anything's possible.
