EZ Sharp 7" and Blackstone FBV

Does anyone know if Blackstone's Convertible Spinner Adapter works with a 7" diameter EZ Sharp? Their internet page says it works with sharpeners that have a center height of 4.5" and mine is 3.75".

When I had my blades sharpened at the LHS they used an eZ Sharp and this Adaptable spinner, worked great!

 

I own the 7" EX Sharp and don't want to have to buy a new machine. Otherwise I was looking at having to buy the F-02, as I don't think the X-02 is robust enough for my long term needs...

Looks like you answered your own question. Perhaps the other ez sharp was taller. 

You'll actually be surprised with the X-02. It is a workhorse. Do you need it to be portable?

no I don't need it to be portable, I'm looking for the best long term investment.

Sometimes i sharpen 5 skates a week and other times it's 30, the X-02 just hasn't sold me yet. Over 20-30 years I don't know if the x-02 will suffice, plus consumables go faster on the smaller machine. On the other hand, I've got the EZ Sharp long paid for....

While the measurements appear to answer my own question, I can't figure out how the store did it, they have the same EZ Sharp.

 Completely understand. I think BS’ tabletops fall in between, but isn’t portable.
