Recommendation for epoxy/resin/other to fix damage blade toe

Customer has a stick they want to repaired and not replaced.... Anyway, the stick is overall in excellent shape it just seems the player has been shooting heavily off the toe and the resin is very worn and it's now eating up the composite layer of the balde toe. 

I usually use marine grade epoxy/resin to repair cracks and chips in stick blades. Would I use the same for the toe?

Does anyone have a better recommendation?

I use Bond 527 multi purpose cement on the toe of the stick. $4 a tube and holds up fine for me.
