Alpha DX Shins

Anyone have experience with DX Shins? I currently use the Ultra Tacks and love them as far as protection, but I am looking to lighten up a bit. Was curious if these fit the bill based on experience. I do block a bunch of shots, so protection is important.

I dropped down one level from the Ultra Tacks to the 6092.  The number is different now.  Much lighter and still protective.  Try it.

I have the DX, previously has the QX. Great shin. Very protective and ought weight. They are a very tapered fit though so it you have tree trunk legs they might not fit well.
