Another TF9 sizing data point.

Recommended Posts

I have to rotate my skates for physio reasons (long story but if anyone wants to know...), so I have a bunch.  Today I received a pair of TF9's.  I wasn't really considering them but they were priced so low...I had to give them a shot.  Anyway, I've been switching between AS3 Pros (my true favorites) and 2xPros for games, and for coaching...Ribcor 80k's and 70k's.  I am a 7.5 D/reg/fit 2 in all of them (size 11 running shoe/hiking boot).  Based on input from you guys, I sized down to a 7.  The previous owner baked them.  So...overall they seem pretty nice. Fit?  Well, I could probably go down to 6.5...maybe even a 6.  It's crazy!  The footbeds of the True 7's are almost exactly the same length as the other 7.5's.  The wrap is completely different...they close waaaay in comparatively.  Haven't baked them for my feet yet and obviously haven't gone for a slide,  so...the rest of my evaluation is on hold.  If you're considering these...it's True (no pun intended), don't expect to be in the size you are used to with Bauer or CCM.

Well...I'm selling them. Just not the right fit. I'm not swimming in them but I'm almost vacuum formed in CCM, so...I'm gonna stick with those.  I think they are nice skates but I need at least a 1/2 size smaller for them to work for me.  Oh well...I tried.
