Larger than stock Runner/Holder?

I was browsing sideline and saw a pro stock skate on there that is size 6 senior but using a size 272 holder and runner (🤯) curious if anybody would be able to enlighten me and explain why/how (aside from personal preference obviously) this would be beneficial for skating?

Longer runner for speed and stability. 2 sizes up is a bit unique.

 

A more recent trend is going down a size in runners for skaters who want more agility and tight turns during board work.
