Which Jofa Elbows

I prefer the shape of these Elbow Pads, but not sure which to get:

What is the difference between the 9144 and 9044?

From the looks of a picture, the 9144 don't seem to have rivits holding the outside cap in place. Is that it?

Do they latch up differently?

Any thoughs on which stay in place better?

Also, does anyone have thoughts on the 7500 Elbow pads. They look like a similar shape a bit lower end.

9144 is the NHL-approved soft cap version of the 9044. It fits the same.

Not charging huge price increases in most of their lines for minor features is what I like about Jofa. They got the right idea, besides great protection, they keep their model differences - albeit many of them, nice and simple.
