Mission Sub zero shin guards

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have or ever used these shin pads? I have some old louisville pads now that are all cracked and was only playing roller hockey with a ball, now i am going to start in a puck league and these pads are about $30. Thanks for the help.

heard from one guy on another team that the pads are super light and are tanks...

i also ordered a pair of them off ebay, but have to wait till mid feb before they get to me (i go by the cheapest shipping available, as normal shipping is super high to Singapore)...

I had a pair of Suby's as elbow pads. The foam they use on them is like what is used in packages for fragile protecion. In a nut shell its cheap and If it receives a large amount of flex or a decent blow it will crack and leave pieces of your leg exposed. Its crap like this that made me stop buying the Mission brand altogether.

The foam is EPP...The most protective foam on the market....You know, the foam used on F1 helmets, High end helmets, etc....Just for your own knowledge...They may not be the most durable shin guard on the market, but they are the most protective...

A coconut shell will protect a part of the body if shapped properly just as EPP. However it won't fall apart after 2 uses like it.
