does anyone remember those shiny syntheses that we saw pictures of back during the world cup? does anyone know what happened to them if they just fell by the wayside with easton or if it was just a pro shaft or what?

I think it was just a Synthesis version of the Synergy SL. ...Or maybe the Synergy ST. I can't remember which... I don't think it is going to be available for retail, no matter which it was.

The Synthesis is unchanged for '05 but I am guessing Easton will change the graphics to mirror their new style, similar to Smolinski's WC Synthesis

On Getty Images, I found a pic of Smolinski during the WC. He is using a 2piece SyNthesis stick, but it is clearly marked "SyNergy". The color is as mentioned, shiny like the new SL's.
