I used to take a lot of slapshots, it never had the most velocity but was a heavy shot, great for clearing all thosoe shot blockers and giving me more space on the point. I've found it much more effective lately to lean into a wrist shot when firing things in from the point. The goalies seem to have more trouble anticipating my release of a wrist shot over that of a slap shot.

It's gotta be the backhand. Learn to use it and you'll have a very dangerous weapon.

There isn't much as sweet as a backhand shot just under the crossbar...

I don't know what my shot is called...no windup, just force the puck into the net with my wrists.  Hybrid between snap and wrist I guess.

Theres a SHITE load of that shot being taken in Aus. Inline. Its a very nifty shot to use when some dumb ass defenceman gives you even a small amount of room. My fav shot when it comes to hitting the far post.

i like taking slap shots but i use the snapper the most

i fake a wrister by flexing my stick a little, then trick the hell out of the goalie by sniping a snap shot top corner

Probaly a wrister or snapper since I used like a 40 flex stick in inline.
