Is it possible to taper a broken SyNergy without losing any length at all. If not how much will I lose. The stick is a prostock if that matters.

You will lose some length. Just bring it to your local proshop and they can do it.

What is a long hosel tapered blade. I have never heard of one.

A blade that has a long hosel, but a tapered tenon. Pretty obvious... Only ones you'll find are old T-Flexes or maybe a pro-stock Inno that wanted a tapered blade long-hoseled.

It's a tapered blade with a long hosel (the upper part of the blade, just below the tenon - the tenon is the part that goes into the shaft). T-flex blades are long hosel tapered blades. They don't make them anymore so you might have to look around. You'll also be stuck with just the Drury pattern if you're looking for a graphite one (at least on the retail level).
