Repairing OPS

I was just at the hockey expo here in St. Paul and there was two booths that said that they could repair broken OPS. One of them had a vector v110 broken right in the middle of the shaft which they repaired. they told me to flex it so i did and suprisinly it felt like a new one would. a while back i posted a thread on here about my stealth that had cracked along the bottom of the blade. one booth said that they could fix it for 65 bucks by redoing the bottom half of the blade. the other booth said that they couldnt do it. do you guys think its worth it to have it repair for 65 bucks when a synthesis blade is 60? the guy did say that it would add some weight to the stick overall. just thought everyone would be interested.

heh, did you get the thunder sticks at the RBK booth? Bunch of us got them and brought the back to xcel for one of the games yesterday and 3-4 of those security guard guys ran down and started popping them with keys...

Anyways, I say if you can get a Synthesis blade to fit flush for cheaper to do that.

man thats sucks!!! they made such a big deal about those things yesterday. there was a little kid behind us before the warroad game with them and a guard came by and said something to the order of either put them away or we will "deflate them for you", way to scare the little huh? anyways back on topic, the booth that said they couldnt do anything about it said that they could prolly set me up with a new blade. ill prolly end up doing that.
