Fedorov's Inno 1100 from the 2002 skills comp

Recommended Posts

Lol, In the WJC when Chris Bourque got hurt because he slid into the boards, they showed him holding his SL's, 8 I think, and he (McGuire) said something about them being garbage, that's what really comes to mind in this situation. Also, I was watching this Swedish elite league game last week and Zetterberg broke his SL Grip and the announcer was like, oh I guess they don't make those sticks any better on this side of the ocean either.

like jr said composites exploded whereas the woodies the player would know a while before the snap that the stick was weakening and could grab another.

sorry for the late reply, but like other people said Fedorov uses a 200-220 flex. He did switch around a little bit but he mostly used a 220 flex. The 3 Fedorov pro return 1100's I had are the best shafts I've used as far as feel, shot power, and durability. They feel about the same as a Easton 110 if not a little stiffer, so he has to be one strong dude to be able to flex it like that.

While it all comes down to personal preference, I do agree that a stiffer stick is better for slapshots and I also believe that when it comes to slappers, you can shoot the puck just as hard with a woodie as you can with a composite.
