General hockey pants questions

if you'e in vancouver, the hockey shop in surrey has some mission m-1's left over for dirt cheap. although the sizing is really limited. last i saw they only had xl i think.

bauer 6000's spine protector likes to stick out as well...

I went to The Hockey Shop to try the M-1 pants, and unfortunately I'm more of a Small to Medium than an XL.

Tuxedo SFS in Calgary has M-1 pants, but they're all XXL.

I don't mind looking dorkish with the spine protector sticking out, as long as it protects against the cross-checks.
