CCM Vector 7.5

Hey all I'm new to the Forum. A little about me. I live in London (England) and have been skating since Febuary 2004. I currently use CCM Vector 2.0 but have decided now is the time to upgrade and I want to stick with the CCM Vectors. I've looked about on the internet and have seen CCM Vector 7.5: http://www.hockeymonkey.com/ccmvector75.html

This is the only site I have seen selling them and was wondering if anyone has tried them out or owns a pair. Also if I'm to buy from this site I have to get the skates shipped to the U.K. Does anyone have any idea how much I can expect to pay on top for Shipping and Customs? Any help will be much appreciated.

They actually have a euro site as well now. The vectors that end in .5 are a special make-up for an organization theat hockeymonkey is part of. You might check the hockeymonkey.eu link they have on their main page to see if that will help with shipping

hey cheers never noticed that. I see they only have the .0's like 6.0 and 7.0 then it goes onto the pros. The only reason I'm looking to purchase from Hockeymonkey.com is because the 7.5's cost $299.99 USD and when I converted that it worked out to £159.10 GBP. They seem so much cheaper to buy from america and get them shipped but I'm worried that Customs and Shipping will cost a heck of alot because they have said that when delivered to my house I may be charged an additional amount. Thats whats making it so damn confusing to me. lol

Have them ship to a friend in the US, and then have the friend ship them as a gift to you. No customs for gifts.

I've done this for my Sweden and Netherlands and German customers.

Never even thought of that only problem is, I don't have any friends in the U.S. I can always ask my aunt as she has some friends in the U.S. Thats a great idea though. Thanks alot for all the help.

I think HockeyMonkey use UPS to ship goods, and international shipping is usually $65.00. UPS will also charge you between £20-40 for customs fees.
