dix0r 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2005 i played soccer for like...15 years, and i think i only polished my cleats a couple times. it didn't seem to make much difference so i didn't bother. when i did, i used chelsea leather food (clear) http://www.soccer.com/IWCatProductPage.pro...Product_Id=1687i don't know if you can get silver but clear might work... dix0r 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2005 wow, i just looked up those cleats and they're pretty sweet...i think i've only ever had 3 types of cleats - 1 pair of predators (breaking em in sucked), 1 pair of nikes (can't remember the model - they rocked but broke down quick), and a ton of pairs of copas...my favorites ;]
hocckey77 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2005 Since I've never played soccer, why would you polish your cleats?better for kicking the ball?
dix0r 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2005 Since I've never played soccer, why would you polish your cleats?better for kicking the ball? i think its more to keep the leather conditioned/keep it from cracking.

fatwabbit 93 Report post Posted April 1, 2005 Hi, i never really polished my cleats... but i did apply a layer of oil onto them... heard from my coach that the oil would repel most of the water that usually gets soaked in during a wet game...
dieselbro 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2005 I've been playing soccer for about 7 years now. But uh is there any pair of cleats that really outperform another. Is it a big difference or not?
peterhockey 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2005 i like the nike vapors alot i have them in orange and gold , but my oranges lasted for about a month so they arent too durable, but they fit my feet just perfect.
