  1. Didn't you guys look at page 12 of the catalogue before you got your Elites? The mirror image of the blade shows you exactly what Easton blades look like after two games?
  2. Yeah, you're getting confused. Those are both Easton patterns, so they wouldn't be clones of each other. Take a peak at the pattern DB on top.
  3. So why would you have given a new stick to someone from your town? We don't have an LHS in my town, so I have to go somewhere else. I hope they won't discriminate against me just because of my address. Don't get me wrong, I think the woman you described was way off and you dealt with her the right way. But why make an exception for someone local? As you said, it's Bauer's policy that warranties are made directly through them.
  4. The Hull/Leopold 2 is about as close as you're going to find. Elias looks more closed to me than the Hull/Leo2.
  5. Does anyone know how much the Pulse OPS will be selling for?
  6. Woops. I posted in the wrong thread. Sorry about that.
  7. Does anyone know how much the Pulse OPS will be selling for?
  8. Never mind. The description of the two sounds quite different.
  9. Is the shaft on the Pulse the same as the Hex or is it a new shaft?
  10. Once again, Mission tells us that the Pulse has "ideal shaft weight" without saying what that weight is. JR - How has your VDS blade been holding up?
  11. Mikeo mentioned that a Carter would eb added later in the year. http://www.modsquadhockey.com/index.php?sh...%20Carter&st=30
  12. Thanks JR! Does anyone know what type of curve the Leopold 2 is? The catalogue lists it as a "1/2 slightly open" with no reference to heel/mid/toe and no lie. The drawing of it looks similar to a Drury, but it's hard to tell.
  13. I'm comparing the 44 and 46 right now, and their lies are different. The 46 would be more vertical. To tell the truth, I'm now confused what lie that would make it. That means the 46 is a higher lie, 5.5 or 6 Chadd, the catalogue lists the #44 with a lie 5 and the #46 with a lie 5.5. That's what prompted by question to Jason. Combining Jason's description with the info in the catalogue, the #44 is a Drury with less twist and a lie 5, aka "a dream blade"! Man, I can't wait 'til July!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Could it be true? Has Salming made the blade I've always been looking for? Jason - in a different threat you had mentioned that the #44 is a Drury pattern. However, in the catalogue, the #46 sounds more like a Drury and the #44 sounds like a dream: A shallow depth, lie 5, with an open face (maybe more of a Mission Ribeiro?). But you had said you played with the #44 and that it looked exactly like a Drury and also had the 5.5 lie like the Drury. Have the patterns been changed or are the descriptions in the catalogue off a bit? By the way, is the Evolution still $195 or has it come down in price with the release of the new top-of-the-line Precision? Last question: When will we start seeing the new stuff in the US? Same "in the spring" timeframe as all the other manufacturers? Thanks Jason and JR for making the catalogue available.
  15. Maybe it's just me, but the picture of the the dolomite (especially on the website) looks like it's a concave shaft. Anyone known if that's the case?
  16. I have a tapered Kovalev in my XV shaft. The tenon of the Inno blades is the same as those of other companies, so they'll fit in any tapered shaft, but the hosel is about 1-1.5 inches longer. Inno is the only company that I know of that has the same hosel size for their tapered and standard blades, so the tapered hosel is a little longer than other tapered blades, and the hosel on the standard blade is a little shorter than other standard blades.
  17. Someone needs to develop Viagra-treated hockey sticks.
  18. Everything manufactured by Easton now has an massive-ass, IN-YOUR-FACE logo on it now. It's such an eyesore on their gloves - it just looks disproportionate. Yeah, but now everyone in the rink will know what brand you're wearing. And more importantly, everyone watching NHL games on TV can see what brand the players are using. But that can backfire too: I find that broken Vapor XXX lites lying on the ice are very easy to spot - the half lying in one corner is all white and the half lying in the other corner is black and neon green.
  19. Let us know how it is. I'd really like to know if Easton's claims of improving the durability of the SL are true. Thanks.
  20. It's hard to see clearly, but there's something between the 4 and the 5. Either "4-5" or "4.5"
  21. So the description for the Synergy II blade says "Synergy SL blade technology", but there is no mention of CNT or the apparent durability upgrade of the SL balde. I don't knwo what to make of that. Is the Synergy II blade (1) simply a repainted Synthesis, (2) last year's SL blade design, or (3) this year's "improved" SL blade design? I sure hope it's not (2)!
