Stick flexing video

Don't know if anyone's seen this, but I just got into following this guy. Analyzing the slap shot, and by extension stick flex.

Joe from Oggie used his force gauge to measure new sticks and the results were interesting to say the least.

I had seen this video before, and found it fascinating.

One question I have though, is if you're testing the flex of a stick (similar to the way they did in the video with the weights pulling down on the middle of the shaft), would you get an accurate reading if the stick was a low kick instead of a mid-kick? Would you have to apply the weights to the "low kick zone" of the stick? I wonder if that's how manufacturers test the flexes.
