1 pointI went in the opposite direction - Hyperlite to Mach. Like @skates73 said you, you can feel the heel give more in the Hyperlites when you turn hard in the corners. It's definitely a more forgiving boot, per Bauer's marketing material and corroborated I think by anyone that's skated in both lineups. The edge of the Hyperlite tongue did pinch into my ankle a little until it was broken in properly. Then again, I skate barefoot so this might not even be noticeable for you.
