  1. I went from 180lbs to 163lbs since I started playing ice hockey again. Just about a year. There's also a HUGE difference in my stamina since my first game back. I love ice hockey!

Good for you man. I've taken around 17 off in the 3 months I've been at school. My stamina got noticeably better

  2. I've been holding off until it was 100% confirmed by the doctors because we didn't wanna Jinx it at all. But it was exciting none the less.

Now that it is and 100% GO-GO-GO with it?

My fiancee and i found out we're going to be parents, due date is late June 2012, This is the most amazing news of my entire life, i dont believe that anything in this world could ever top this. I'm gonna do the best and hardest to be a good parent and more, words cannot describe how i feel about this.

    Congrats man

  3. Just ordered my first pair of Franchise Custom Gloves from IW!

I went with black tufftek, the cuffs are standard in black carbon, the silver stripe is carbon as well.

They are 13" Wide with silver binding and black text outlined in red.

I also had my initials in silver and my number in black. Asked that they use black assembly thread and use black carbon under the 'W' on the thumb.

I went for the micronash palms with the black 3D mesh gussets and trilam foam.

Now I have the grueling wait for these guys to come in, hopefully before Christmas. Thanks to everyone on MSH who helped me better understand the process.

    Adam

Here's the photo (tried posting image, but it's not letting me).

nice color combo. Silver text outline would look sick too

  4. Sorry to hear that Speedz. Glad you could be there with him. Best of luck.

(I know I am going to be destroyed when that inevitable day comes for my pup.)

+1. My dogs getting up there in age and I'm going to be at school for most of the next 4 years which sucks

Eating my food, putting dirty dishes in the clean dishwasher, leaving crap around, not turning off lights. It's the lttle things that realllllly get under my skin.

Oh and apparently he smokes now. I just remembered he is sleeping on my parent's mattress.... hmmmm

Sounds like my roomate. He's a slob. Doesn't clean up after himself. Eats something and doesn't clean up the area where he ate until, MAYBE, a week later. Sometimes longer. It's disgusting. He'll eat something and just leave the trash or plate there on the table or coffee table. Leaves a mess in whatever area he hangs out in. I don't even want to leave my room. It's that disgusting.

Stories like these and my own experience with bonehead roommates has convinced me not to go with a random roommate again.

  5. Apparently, paying child support based off of a $1.4 million salary isn't enough for some women. Not sure if the woman or the guy who served the papers is the bigger dirtbag in this one.

If she actually digs some money out of this it would be almost as ridiculous as this story.

  6. After a couple of months struggling with losing weight, I've been doing a lot better for the past two weeks and have now lost a total of 50 pounds since last November. Only another 65 pounds or so to go...

Good for you man. I just started to get a hold after myself after struggling for a year. Down 10 and got 40 to go

Going to tiesto tonight too

  7. so sorry to hear that bud. life just doesn't make sense sometimes.

Two staples of my life up to this point (23 yrs old) seem to be on their final down turns. My grandmother is starting to show the signs of her illness, and my child hood dog that I've had since i was in second grade has severe dementia, and my parents are thinking about finally making that last trip to the vets office.

I feel for ya man. My grandmother is starting to deteriorate. It's tough to watch sometimes. My Aunt was telling me how sad it was to watch her mother-in-law not being able to eat when they went to dinner the other night because of her Parkinson's.

  8. I am with you on all of this. I have driven 150+ in a car and a bike but never under the influence. He was asking for it. It was stupid. He paid the ultimate price and unfortunately so did his friend. But after reading this I will say in the words of the reaper. You may be a general or a street sweeper but sooner or later you dance with the reaper! Live by the sword die by the sword. What did he expect would happen...

On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Dunn had been cited 23 times for driving infractions in the past 13 years -- including 10 speeding and careless driving tickets and three for driving with a suspended license. There was also a drunken driving arrest in 2005.

As far as the .19 that is usually a pretty mean buzz but a lot of people would still think they are safe to drive. .19 would equate to about 6 drinks or three big beers.

You'd have to be a pretty small guy for that to be true
