  1. Totally worth it. Lasts longer and performs better. I'm upset I don't have time to get it done for my game tonight, and will have to use a shitty ROH sharpening.

What I think is funny though is that no one really knows about it in Vancouver. I ask every hockey shop I go to and most either haven't heard of it, or claim it's un proven yet and not worth the investment. I think they need to get on MSH

I was at The Hockey Shop yesterday and saw a couple of signs hanging from their ceiling about FBV. I didn't read the sign or ask them about it though so not sure if it said it's coming, already have it or what. It was more of just a glance and I recognized it. Way too busy there yesterday to really look around, you pretty much had to know what you want and get it, too busy to look around and shop. Hopefully they do have it, I want to give it a try.

read them the next time you're in, you'll be pleasantly surprised ;)

Yeah I called them yesterday. Going to give it a try. Do you work there? I love The Hockey Shop, I rather drive 45 mins there than 5 mins to Cyclone.

i do. not on floor though, creative services

  3. again i doubt it...its not just a simple as creating a really skinny rectangular box, they have to make a new animations/movement/put with player animations etc. etc. with every new stick design

believe me i've spent time zooming in on replays to check, they get the graphics all realistic and stuff but in the end its the same taper

but i definately wished they did

You make one universal stick model and re-texture it for the different sticks. If you have a separate model for like an S17 then it's a different story but doing something like that's a waste of time and space.

  4. Sorry bro, the white stitching doesn't look good on a black glove that doesn't have white on it, ANYWHERE.

Also, micronash palm is garbage (in the minds of many, not only myself); you guys need a different standard palm.

I still love you though. B)

No MSH logo? Score one for Hoffman... :D

The white stitching looks terrible; sorry.

    Come on!

I love the Micronash.. i wouldn't mind it if the Stroker palms were offered though

  5. In case anyone in the lower mainland is curious, I found out that the hockey shop in Surrey has the FBV. It's $10 though, which is twice the cost of their regular sharpenings.

as far as I know the price hasn't been finalized, and even the service hasn't been made officially available to all customers

$10 is way too much, and last I heard they were thinking the same way, especially considering that FBV doesn't last as long as conventional sharpening

we're still testing it out on staff and are getting a better idea of it

i don't know where you heard the price hasn't been finalized but it will be $10.

As JR said, FBV is a PREMIUM sharpening. Obviously it won't last as long as a regular sharpening, when has stuff geared more towards performance ever lasted a long time?
